Hello Fambly,

We took advantage of Marie Therese being in town and took a little excursion up to Willard to see mom's property. The Christine Center and setting was beautiful and serene, and we were warmly welcomed, even though we arrived unannounced. We met several of mom's old friends who live up there, and stayed in a cabin on the Christine Center property. The second day Celine, Marie Therese and I hiked through mom's 5 acres which is now heavily wooded with lots of undergrowth. It was wonderful just to be there in that peaceful place and get a taste of mom's stomping grounds.

The rest of the trip was not uneventful. We managed to lock the keys in the car on the way up, and on the way home the other car fell into a ditch which was parading itself as a grassy shoulder. Needless to say both incidents added to the enjoyment of the trip, and renewed our trust in the kindness of strangers. If I can figure it out I will post some of the pictures which include some expert planking.
